Egypt trade shows to showcase innovation in building and construction

Projex Africa – The Future Building & Construction Trade Fair will run concurrently with MS Marmomacc + Samoter Africa – Stone + Design + Technology & Construction Equipment Trade Fair at the Cairo International Convention Centre, 10-13 December

Exhibitors from Egypt, Italy, India, China, Turkey, Brazil, Bulgaria and Germany will gather to meet qualified African buyers, including those from Algeria, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tunisia, Uganda and the Middle East.

Both shows are organised by leading exhibition organiser Veronafiere, together with Egyptian trade fair organiser Art Line and the Egyptian exporters association ExpoLink.

Projex Africa, now in its second year, is a fair dedicated to the building sector, focusing on solutions and materials, green building and sustainability.

MS Africa, now in its third year, focuses on marble, natural stone and construction machinery.

The show was born from the experience of Marmomacc and Samoter, two of Veronafiere's renowned brands in the building sector.

The exhibitions, which confirm Egypt's status as a focal point for trade investment, will run alongside The Middle East Summit – Sustainable Construction and Buildings and Facades – International Scientific Summit, alongside a new initiative dedicated to African marbles.

Many new infrastructure projects are currently underway in Egypt; the government is working on a housing scheme to build 65,000 new homes and is developing the expansion of agricultural areas.
