Samsung Electronics South Africa has announced the launch of Q9000 jet engine air conditioner, which will use jet engine technology to cool or heat air faster than conventional units

Samsung Electronics South Africa business leader for digital air solutions Michael McKechnie said, “The system will immediately cool or heat up the air so that consumers do not have to wait for their rooms to be at the perfect temperature. Samsung’s smart inverter technology will also help save up to 76 per cent energy which reduces operational costs.”

The system uses three vents that use jet engine technology to create a whirlwind effect. This can capture the air in circular movement and provide a spin that creates a jet stream delivering up to 50 per cent more cool or warm air than conventional air conditioners.

The jet engine air conditioner features a slim design and air moves through the unit much faster.

The air conditioner also comes with an automatic cut off power protection feature to provide protection against power surges.

McKechnie noted, “The Jet Engine air conditioner is a premium unit that appeals to the lifestyle requirements of customers who want an aesthetically pleasing, eco-friendly and innovative digital air solution all year round.”
