A permanent fixture in many calendars for 26 years, Mining Indaba is the go-to event shaping Africa’s mining future

Building on a hugely successful 2019 edition, this February the event will be packed with 11 streams hosting rich content and exciting sessions. From analysts drilling down into commodity price predictions to majors delivering headline-hitting news, join the buzz, the side-chat and the speculation to discover how 2020 and beyond is likely to unfold.

Part of the Junior Mining Forum, the Battery Metals Day will provide an essential platform for discussing issues surrounding the rising global demand for battery metals and how Africa’s minerals can continue to meet demand.

-Battery cell technology – which battery will power the future?

-What strategies do car manufacturers and battery makers have in place to increase the supply of battery materials?
