Carmix SA has played a crucial role in a project focused on repairing a rural community road situated in Nongoma, KwaZulu-Natal

Employing the robust capabilities of a Carmix 3500TC, the company successfully poured a substantial volume of 350 cu/m of concrete. Despite encountering formidable obstacles like relentless heavy rainfall and negotiating a challenging steep gradient, the team persevered and completed the project within a commendable timeframe of one month.

One of the significant challenges encountered was the need to mix the load at the apex of a hill boasting a gradient of approximately 15 degrees, and then discharge it at the bottom. However, thanks to the flexibility of Carmix 3500TC, with its ability to slew the drum 300 degrees, the team was able to strategically manipulate the drum's positioning, thus preventing any concrete spillage during the transfer process. This feature was instrumental in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of operations, making Carmix the optimal choice for this demanding task.

Reliable concrete equipment

The adverse weather conditions, coupled with the demanding topographical features of the site, underscored the importance of utilising equipment that could reliably deliver results under such circumstances. Carmix's performance in this project not only showcased its resilience but also reaffirmed its status as a dependable solution for projects requiring precision and reliability.

Carmix SA's stated that its involvement in the rehabilitation of the rural community road served to exemplify its commitment to providing innovative solutions tailored to meet the unique challenges faced in construction projects. Its successful execution of this endeavor stands as a testament to the efficiency and effectiveness of Carmix equipment in demanding real-world scenarios.
