The company recently inaugurated a manufacturing plant in South Africa, stated company officials. Armor Africa is keen to target eastern and southern African markets, through partnerships with printer manufacturers and value-added resellers from its head office and plant in Johannesburg.

Armor Africa produces a range of thermal transfer ribbons, and is also the first designer-manufacturer of inked films to provide local thermal transfer ribbon slitting facilities. They can be used for barcodes, logos, labels, flexi packaging and fabrics for manufacturing, logistics and distribution.

At Propak East Africa, the company is looking to expand its reseller network in this region. In addition to showcasing its product range, Armor Africa will also demonstrate how quality ribbons protect printheads of thermal transfer printers and ensure critical functioning of supply chains.
